TO BENEFIT

It is with our hearts overflowing with joy and gratitude that we want to thank everyone for their support of Noah's Festival of Life and Hopeful Hearts Foundation. Thank you for coming out and experiencing such an incredible day with us in an effort to raise awareness for the #1 birth defect worldwide, CHD. Because of your support, we successfully raised over $40,000. We will continue to help families around the country who are affected by CHD with financial assistance and provide comfort and support with Hopeful Hearts' care package deliveries to children recovering from heart procedures.

We are proud to have immediately supported families at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital Orange County with a care package deliveries to patients and their families.

On behalf of Noah Bella, my husband, Keith, and the Hopeful Hearts Foundation, thank you to all our supporters, donors, friends and our family for your support.

Love and Gratitude,
The Michaelis Family

We would like to give a special thanks and acknowledge our corporate sponsors and supporters.

Congenital heart defects are the #1 birth defect worldwide.

About NFOL

Noah's Festival of Life originated in 2009 following her three open heart surgeries she underwent that year. She wished nothing more than to celebrate her homecoming with a carnival-like festival.

Our story

We are just one story of a family living with congenital heart disease, but we strive to turn our scariest moments in life into a life filled with hope, acceptance and perseverance.

mission

Our mission is to help as many heart families in need by providing funds for travel, lodging, food, hospital parking, as well as care packages for families during their child's hospitalization.

Noah's Festival of Life originated in 2009

following her three open heart surgeries she underwent that year. She wished nothing more than to celebrate her homecoming with a carnival-like festival in her backyard full of games and cotton candy and among all of her friends and family. It was a day for all of us to celebrate life together and to be thankful for the countless support from all of our friends and family.

Since then, we have expanded Noah's Festival of Life into a fundraising effort that includes a silent auction and raffle aimed to help heart families across the country with financial assistance. To date, Noah's Festival of Life has raised over $65,000 and have helped over 100 families. We know first hand what it is like to be thrown into the emotional strain of watching our daughter go through the unthinkable while at the same time feeling the financial burden of the many things that coincide with long hospital stays.

The Hopeful Hearts Foundation is the recipient of funds raised during Noah's Festival of Life. All net proceeds go to defraying the expenses accrued during a child's extended hospitalization. They provide assistance with such expenses as travel, lodging, food and parking, as well as care packages for families during their hospital stay. Hopeful Hearts also strives to raise awareness of CHD along with funds for research and early detection––with the end goal of improving the outcomes for those affected by CHD. "One of the most valuable things in life is to help others." –Noah Bella

Our mission is to help as many heart families in need by providing financial assistance for such expenses as travel, lodging, food, hospital parking, as well as care packages for families during their child's hospitalization to aid in comfort and healing. If it's not stressful enough to see your child undergo complex heart surgery, the additional burden of having to pay for these expenses during this difficult time is insurmountable for many. Doing what we can to ease this strain allows them to focus all their energy where it's needed most.
